Officers in the Analysis Career Field perform a wide variety of tasks in support of DIA's mission. From technical operations to insider threat investigations, officers in the Analysis Career Field safeguard the Nation from foreign adversarial threats.

                            
CAREER SPECIFICS
 

Our Analysis officers come from numerous different backgrounds and hold a wide variety of interests, and we welcome applicants from any educational track. As we continue to build a team of Analysis officers to meet the evolving needs of the 21st century, we are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in STEM fields, computer programmers, data scientists and engineers. Whether or not you have military experience, foreign language skills, or degrees in music, electrical engineering, math, political science or beyond — what Analysis officers share in common is a commitment to excellence.

The Analysis Career Field consists of six career specialties. Over the course of your career with DIA, you may have a chance to work in several different specialties at locations around the world, depending on your preferences and the needs of the Agency.
